As a Google Cloud Architect, you will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects, provide technology consultation, assist in defining scope and sizing of work, anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification. Responsibilities

Conduct design reviews and create architecture blue print - choosing the right stack on GCP
Experience in large data platform implementation and design in GCP - Batch and streaming workloads preferably
Experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
Provide technical expertise in security, compliance, and security best practices as it relates to data services - Dataflow, BQ, Dataproc, Cloud Functions , Composer
Be a trusted technical security advisor and resolve technical challenges for customers.
E2E Implementation experience on complete Warehouse/Mart migration from On-premise to Google Cloud.
Hands on Experience in BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, Cloud functions, Cloud SQL, BigTable, DataProc, Dataflow and Transfer services.
Implementation experience in building data pipelines using cloud composer, Kubernetes, Dataproc and storing analytical data in BigQuery for downstream consumption.
Good Exposure and experience in migrating the On-Premise data warehouse/ marts to GCP based solution using the GCP cloud native (BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Storage and BigQuery Transfer Service) solutions
Data Ingestion and ELT design and implementation
Experience defining ABC process and ETL framework.
Coding review and Unit test automation.

Requirements

10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years focusing on Google Cloud
5+ years leading technology focused team(s)
5+ Professional Services experience in large enterprise deployments
Understanding of Agile and/or ITIL practices
Experience leading the technology workstreams of cloud deployments
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
Proven hands-on experience in supporting Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud and associated integrations (Cloud Console, CLI, APIs etc)
Must understand Public, Private, & Hybrid Cloud Strategies
Must able to create Architectural diagrams and produce architectural documents for Cloud system Architecture
Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts including scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell ,Terraform, Packer etc.
Strong preference for experience/understanding of application architecture within cloud
Hands-on Experience with Windows and Linux System Management
Experience and working knowledge of Virtualization, Networking, Data Center, and Security
Familiarity with the Cloud ecosystem, products and solutions
Understanding of the Cloud Cost models and Optimization strategies
Independent and self-motivated and very thorough worker
Troubleshooting skills (patience and determination to find and solve problems)
GCP Certification Preferred
